At Plant Based Food Share, our food justice program is committed to informed data-handling and use, data-minimization, and data privacy. We will never sell your data. We are a United States based company and intend on only collecting United States data from submitters over the age of 18. If you would like to exercise your right to be forgotten please contact us via our Contact Us page and leave your request in the notes and we will do our best to honor it in a timely fashion.

We recognize that program participants may be hesitant to share their Personal Identifiable Information (PII) when submitting to the program due to interpersonal safety concerns, historical abuse of data by corporate technology conglomerates, data-farming, data selling, and more. Program participants have their data stored in a secure drive separate from our promotional data and the data collected will not be used for promotional communications and will not be shared with partners, third party vendors, sponsors, or other contacts outside of our food justice program core team. We may contact you about program related information.

Promotional communications will be sent to individuals who opt-into our newsletter, follow our blog, sign up from a social form, and can unsubscribe at any time. Data collected may include name, email address, phone number, and promotional contactable consent information. If promotionally contactable, we may use your data to send you paid ads, promotional emails, and content on other channels for the purpose of promotional communications regarding Plant Based Food Share. We currently leverage Google Analytics to measure site performance and we have opted to anonymize IP addresses for site visitors. Meaning, we can see the actions you have taken on our site, however, neither Plant Based Food Share or Google will directly connect your activity to you. We do not share your PII or IP data with any partners, sponsors, or third parties. Any PII collected through the program is stored in a secure drive.
